After successful years, the Formula Student Easter was organized again this year between 21 and 23 June at the ZalaZONE Research and Technology Center. The event took place in three main phases: machine takeover, dynamic and static competition. The program was an excellent opportunity for both Hungarian and international teams to test themselves and their vehicles before the race.
One of the goals of the event was to provide adequate preparation opportunities for the teams before the summer racing season. It was also important for teams to be able to identify areas of preparation where improvements were needed.
During the program, 22 volunteers took part, who supported the organization and the work of the teams. At the event, volunteers performed various tasks that were key to its successful implementation. On Friday, event staff welcomed volunteers and teams, helped register attendees, and put together packages for them. On Saturday and Sunday, track marshals oversaw track safety, built race tracks (boles, chalk signs), flagged and scored. They received both online and on-site training to enable them to carry out their duties properly. The work of the volunteers was essential for the smooth running of the competition and the successful preparation of the teams.
