
The aim of the series of events, which has been organized for several years, is to support and promote training with the active involvement of teachers.
Throughout the year, several research presentations have been organized for instructors, aiming to strengthen the professional profile of the university and the ZalaZONE research unit among high school teachers and educators.
To this end, a targeted presentation of the university's research activities will be held for institutional teachers. Within the framework of the project, a total of 52 trainers and teachers visited the ZalaZONE Research and Technology Center in the second half of the year. During the event, Széchenyi István University, and the university's ZalaZONE research units were presented to regional grammar school and secondary school teachers. During the event, the teachers first took part in a test track tour, then they were introduced to the activities of the ZalaZONE Research and Technology Center, with special regard to the ongoing projects in the laboratory building of Széchenyi University, such as radar calibration systems, simulation developments, ADAS systems, CAN networks. The programme ended with a demonstration of a new tool of the research unit, which a power measurement bench and its evaluation process, and the technical solutions for sensor calibration. The event provided a deeper insight into the work of the university and the research unit of ZalaZONE, which can help secondary school teachers to understand and pass on the actualities of research opportunities and technological development to students as well.
