The main goal of the event series is to support and popularize technical areas and training for students. One of the initiatives implemented by the Pannon Development Foundation is the organization of research presentations for secondary school students. The plan of the autumn program series was to present the ZalaZONE research unit of the university and to present the professional activities carried out in SZE-JKK ZalaZONE for research and technical career guidance. During the event, students from different schools visited the ZalaZONE Research and Technology Center, which was attended by 226 secondary and primary school students and high school students in autumn 2023. The aim of the program is to popularize the technical profession among students, to introduce the programmes of Széchenyi István University and the ZalaZONE research and development activities of the university, for which purpose the research activities of the university were presented. During the program, students participated in a presentation briefing, during which they heard about the opportunities offered by the ZalaZONE internship program and related processes. This was followed by a tour of the technology center, during which the activities of organizations operating in the ZalaZONE ecosystem were presented, with special regard to the projects carried out in the workshop of Széchenyi University, such as simulation developments, LIDAR equipment and CAN networks.
