Its aim is to implement an orientation program promoting the career and profession of engineering for students who are about to choose a career.
In autumn 2023, the foundation's truck roadshow event was held a total of 9 times, addressing 815 students.
During the program, interested students could get information about technical careers and further education opportunities in 30-minute lectures. The students could get acquainted with the ZalaZONE Science and Innovation Park and the local automotive industry projects of the Széchenyi István University Automotive Research Centre in an interactive framework. They were informed about the surfaces of the automotive test track in Zalaegerszeg, the buildings of the ZalaZONE Research and Technology Center and the automotive industry areas and technologies that the park deals with.
During the program, the RosBOT project and Lidar equipment of the dual students of ZalaZONE were presented, and some technical projects of local dual students were also discussed. The program also included the center's IPG CarMark simulator, which students could also try and drive on the surfaces of the virtual test track.
It was available to a wide target group at the foundation program, so during the presentation the organizing team tried to make it as flexible and understandable as possible, so depending on the age group, it prepared several presentations and illustrative tools for each location.
